St. David's Day

The servant has a brother called David so that is why I decided to call my blog after him.

We had our first doggy visitor last weekend as a trial run. A lovely little collie called Merley who was very respectful towards me and the other cats in the house as she did not make eye contact so I did not have occasion to scold her for being insolent.

She did have a touch of the runs after eating something she found whilst with her owner and the servant coped admirably with the aftermath on two occasions. Rather her than me!!

The servant has decided that the doggy hotel is for her in spite of what happened and is getting some leaflets and business cards made. I still believe that a picture of me on the leaflets would be much better than those 2 dopey labradors but there is no accounting for taste. The servant has also started to bother people, sorry tell people about her Labrador Hotel and the benefits of it compared to normal kennels. I didn't like the sound of ordinary kennels or cattery as it seemed very "cold" and I am the sort of cat who likes to hang off the servants shoulder and observe everything or sit on her lap while she is trying to eat lunch or dinner and generally be the centre of attention.

The servant is getting some wooden gates made for the courtyard area at the house and main gateway plus she is looking at some fancy dog beds, I thought dogs liked lying on cold floors because when I decide I want their bed that is where they end up -heehee!

As always a pleasure speaking to you all. Night night xxx
